September 18 - Darksea Chibi Chain

Well, forever ago, I decided to draw one of these, and only recently (today, actually) did I get around to drawing it. I was supposed to draw it on the eighteenth, but as you probably already know, I am much behind on that so have only gotten to it today.
I'm still drawing that traditional picture I told you about ages ago, and I also am soon going to get to 's kiriban prize, so don't think I've forgotten that.

So, anyway, about the picture.
These are the main characters from Darksea, a magical realm in which magical stuff happens and about which I write books. From top to bottom: Zira, resident apprentice mage of Darksea Palace, Riven, butler, secretary, cook, and everything in between for Darksea Palace, seeing as how the queen doesn't know what she's doing, Queen LaKale (Llama Kale, Lady Kale, Tyrant of Darksea), the ruler of Darksea, a relatively laid-back, lazy, not particularly skilled midget who comes into power almost accidentally and relies upon the others very heavily, Adeavalos (Vuffvi), one of the two bodyguards of LaKale, a very young tiger anthro who doesn't do much but sleep and play with butterflies, Seina, the other bodyguard of LaKale, who does most of the actual bodyguarding, and takes care of her young companion, and lastly, Captain Jekri, who, in case you hadn't noticed, I haven't figured out the appearance for yet. He's in charge of the Army, Navy and Royal Guard, and apparently has a purple-feathered helmet.

And that was one of the longest, ugliest sentences I've ever had the displeasure of writing.
But, in any case, I very much like the hair for most of this picture. It's some of the best I've done in quite a while, and so I'm excited about that. The wings also look nice, and I am remarkably fond of Vuffvi - I've never before managed to draw a tiger, and for a first time, I think it was decently done.
